REVIEW: Trader’s Grill in Yellowknife

The Trader’s Grill Restaurant in Yellowknife provides restaurant goers with an international menu of good eats and yummy treats. Located in the Explorer Hotel, the Trader’s Grill makes for a great get away from the hustle and bustle of the other downtown dining locations (especially at lunch). The standouts at the Trader’s Grill are the exceptional food quality, the unique menu options (i.e. muskox) and the clean relaxed atmosphere.

The breakfast, lunch and dinner menus have selections of game dishes, international cuisine and traditional western style meals including caribou, muskox, steaks, burgers, soups, salads, seafood and deserts. PRICE RANGE: $5.95 to $39.95 per dish. Accepts cash, debit card, Visa, MasterCard and American Express.

AVERAGE FOOD DELIVERY TIME: 20-25 minutes (varies at different times of day).

ATMOSPHERE: Relaxed, clean and quiet with a large brass hot stove to keep diners warm. Comfortable seating.

HOURS OF OPERATION: Daily breakfast (Monday to Friday 7:00 am to 11:00 am, Saturday 8:00 am to 11:00 am, Sunday 8:00 am to 10:00 am), lunch (Monday to Saturday 11:00 am to 2:00 pm) and evening (Monday to Sunday 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm) services including a popular Sunday brunch (every Sunday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm) service.
