REVIEW: Surly Bob’s Sports Bar in Yellowknife

There is nothing better than getting a big meal for a reasonable price in a comfortable atmosphere. And you can get that winning combination at the Surly Bob’s Sports Bar located at 4910 50th avenue in downtown Yellowknife. The sports bar features comfortable seating for all sizes of groups, personable staff and mulitple big screen televisions for watching televised sports like the NHL, NFL, MLB, CFL and the UFC. Surly Bob’s is also a popular gathering place for catching many of the major Pay-Per-View sporting events.

The menu offers giant burgers, hot sandwiches, fish n’ chips, wraps, fajitas, salads, soups and other traditional pub-style restaurant dishes. The plates are stacked with food and you are guaranteed to go away feeling like you just scored a touchdown. After dining at Surly Bob’s on numerous occasions I can say that one of the best things about the Surly Bob’s food service it is that the meals are always consistent in quality and mighty in proportion. And, if you go there a few times do not be surprised if the staff start to greet you by your name too. Overall this was an easy high-five all around dining experience. Check out the photos below!
