Rat Lake and Tin Can Hill Hike
Posted on 18. Mar, 2009 by Shane in Hiking Trips, Sightseeing
I went on a short hike with Petra today across Rat Lake and up Tin Can Hill. It was a cold day for a hike by most peoples standards but being indoor 8 months of the year starts to drive you a little stir-crazy by March. And what better way to get yourself energized than to freeze your toes and get eyebrow icicles.

Petra doing her best Vanna impression at -30 degrees celcius. You can see the Con Mine at the far end of Rat Lake in Yellowknife.

Petra looking rather dangerous and cold at the same time.

Petra was getting too cold so we had to cut short the hike for today.
