My name is Jeff and I belong to the local 4x4 club here in YK. We use the sand pits quite a bit and know the place very well. Last August we did a clean up and took out some major garbage, along with some sunken 4x4 trucks and cars that took a swim years ago. If you ever wanted to ride along with us on a 4x4 expedition, we go every weekend during the summer, from trips to Berry Hill to Walsh Lake, we enjoy the wilderness and travel some less beaten paths... I just got a nice camera and plan to take more pictures and log the "hidden NWT" and enjoy its wonderful rich history and facinating people.
