Today was the hottest day yet and perfect for a 2.5 hour ride around Yellowknife! It got up to +12 degrees celcious – which probably sounds funny to people in the south. My friends in Nanaimo have reported that they were out at the beach in +28 degree sunny weather.

My supplies for this excursion included bike gloves, shorts, shirt, sun glasses, spare sweater (tied to my bike), 2 bottles of water, small oil bottle, spare tire tube, 3 energy bars, camera and a mini-tool. Here are some photos along the way.

If anyone knows why that trailer is raised I would love to know. I have lived here for 15 years and never found anyone that knows.

Like the site by the way.
