Aurora Borealis in Yellowknife September 19, 2009

Here is a view of the Aurora appearing over Yellowknife and Tin Can Hill on September 19, 2009 at 12:05 am. The Aurora show lasted for approximately 30 minutes and the intensity hung around from K3 to K3.5. The sky was quiet the rest of the night with only a short return around 3:00 am.

MY CAMERA SETTINGS: F-stop: f/2.7, ISO Speed: 400, Exposure Time: 20-30 sec., Focal Length: 5 mm, Max Aperature: 2.875.
