You need to have control of your exposure time, ISO-Speed and aperature settings. If your camera allows you to customize these settings then you should be able to get some basic shots of the Aurora. Thanks for your answer! However, I don't find that graph as accurate as you pointed out in your blog (between 10 and 11.30 pm). In this graph I can only see the 6-hour prediction and for a very wide area... anyway.. I am now going to have a stroll outside and see if there's some :) Fortunately we'll be in town for about a year, so I am sure we'll have the chance to see some good ones!! Hi Shane!

I am just not looking outside all evening just to see if it is there yet... we've been trying a couple a days now at midnight, but I didn't know it could be so early at night.
